In line with the new DPO directive that Community Pharmacy England gave on 2nd April 2026 that ALL UK Pharmacies MUST appoint an Official DPO before 30th June 2026 BEFORE Filling out the mandatory NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit.

Community Pharmacy England now direct that every Pharmacy MUST have an officially registered Data Protection Officer. Before you can fill out the June 2026 Data Security and Protection Toolkit you must appoint a qualified DPO. For many small pharmacies this can be a financial burden they can ill afford. To engage the services of an independent DPO can be costly and finding the right DPO can be confusing and difficult.

The Data Protection Officers Association have a solution for you that can save you thousands of pounds a year. Every year!

This solution will allow you to appoint an in house DPO with no conflict of interests and who can be progressively trained up to become expert in UK GDPR law. They can fulfil all of the requirements for an In House DPO saving the pharmacy thousands of pound a year, every year!

The DPOA Online Data Protection Officer Training Course
